04

Sharing Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Funding Partners: We share your business and financial information with our network of third-party funding partners for the purpose of evaluating and potentially fulfilling your funding request. Each partner maintains their own privacy practices and you should review their policies before proceeding with any funding offer.
  • Service Providers: Information you submit through our application, including supporting documents, may be processed or stored by service providers operating on our behalf — including our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, document storage, hosting and infrastructure providers, communication tools, and analytics services. These providers act on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to BlackRidge. Application information is not disclosed to advertising platforms.
  • Financing and Transaction Parties: We may share relevant information, including your application and supporting documents, with financing providers, lenders, factors, equipment-finance providers, brokers, referral partners, marketplaces, verification providers, credit reporting agencies, and other parties involved in evaluating, arranging, underwriting, closing, funding, servicing, renewing, or facilitating the financing you request.
  • Business and Professional Parties: We may disclose information to present or future affiliates and commonly controlled entities, and to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and service providers, for legitimate operational, professional, compliance, security, and business purposes, subject to applicable law.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of BlackRidge, our clients, or others.
  • Advertising Platforms: Marketing pages of our website use the Meta Pixel, which shares website activity data (such as pages visited) with Meta Platforms, Inc. so we can measure advertising performance and reach relevant audiences. This does not include information you submit through our funding application, which carries no advertising trackers. See Cookies & Tracking for details and opt-out options.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share certain website activity information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms may be defined under applicable privacy laws — see Cookies & Tracking for details and opt-out options. We do not share information submitted through our funding application — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank statements, or financial details — with advertising platforms.

05

Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
  • HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to enforce encrypted connections
  • Server-side input validation and sanitization to prevent injection attacks
  • Rate limiting and bot protection on all form submission endpoints
  • Access controls restricting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular security assessments of our web platform and infrastructure

While we take these measures seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

06

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. We use the following types:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function properly, including session management and form security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views and traffic sources. This service is cookieless and does not track individual users across sites or build visitor profiles.
  • Advertising & Retargeting Cookies: Certain marketing pages of our website use the Meta Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel uses cookies to record page visits and interactions so that we can measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. Information collected through the Meta Pixel is shared with Meta and may be used by Meta in accordance with its own data policies. You can manage your advertising preferences through your Meta account settings or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.
  • Bot Protection: Our forms use a self-contained arithmetic verification challenge to distinguish human visitors from automated submissions. This challenge runs entirely within your browser, sets no cookies, and transmits no information to any third party.
No advertising or third-party tracking on our application page. Because our funding application collects sensitive personal and financial information — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and bank statements — we do not place advertising pixels or third-party analytics on that page. Information you enter into the application is transmitted to BlackRidge Funding LLC and to the service providers that operate our platform on our behalf — including our CRM (Zoho), document storage, and hosting providers — and, where applicable, to financing providers evaluating your inquiry. It is not transmitted to advertising platforms.

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling certain cookies may limit the functionality of our website. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time.

07

Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: The right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Deletion: The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. Because certain website activity may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws, you may opt out of that sharing at any time. To do so, contact us using the information in Section 14 and state that you wish to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may also limit this activity by disabling advertising cookies in your browser settings or by opting out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info. We honor verified opt-out requests promptly and will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
  • Opt-Out of Communications: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message or by contacting us directly.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Florida residents may have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 14.

08

Communications Consent

Where you affirmatively select the applicable consent checkbox presented beside the relevant field on our forms, you consent to receive communications from BlackRidge Funding LLC via:

  • Telephone calls, including calls placed using automated dialing systems or pre-recorded messages
  • SMS/text messages to the mobile number provided
  • Email messages to the email address provided

These communications may relate to your funding inquiry, the status of your application, available funding products, and related advisory services. Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS communications. Consent to receive automated calls or text messages is not a condition of obtaining financing.

Consent to automated calls and texts applies to BlackRidge Funding LLC. Separately, financing providers who receive your application may contact you regarding that specific funding request, subject to applicable law and to the communication preferences you have expressed with them or with us.

You may opt out of communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us directly at the information below. Opting out will not affect communications required to complete an active application or funding transaction. You may also revoke consent through any other reasonable method that clearly communicates your desire to stop receiving covered calls or messages.

09

SMS Communications

If you opt in, we may send customer-care and inquiry-related messages, including automated messages. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to service providers solely as necessary to deliver and support our messaging program.

10

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including funding partners and service providers. These websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or data handling. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.

When your information is shared with a funding partner as part of the matching process, that partner's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy and applicable law.

11

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended solely for business owners and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

12

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Your continued use of our website following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

13

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Rather than applying a single fixed period, we determine retention for each category of information based on the following criteria:

  • Status of the funding inquiry: whether an inquiry was abandoned, declined, funded, or remains active, and whether an ongoing relationship exists
  • Contractual requirements: obligations owed to financing providers, service providers, and other counterparties
  • Applicable limitation periods: the time during which a legal claim relating to the transaction could be brought
  • Fraud prevention and security: the need to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Legal and regulatory obligations: recordkeeping, reporting, audit, and examination requirements applicable to our business
  • Sensitivity of the information: more sensitive categories — such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and bank statements — are retained no longer than necessary for the purposes above

When information is no longer needed under these criteria, we delete it or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the information in Section 14; however, we may retain certain information where required by law, for fraud prevention, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
